We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for the support last night. We had a brilliant turn out and it was great to have that pub buzz feel that we have all missed so much.

We are delighted that Sophie’s popular Carol event is coming to the Chilmark Reading Room on Saturday 23rd December. Sadly this year we do not have a pub to host this but the event will be raising funds for The Black Dog Working Party.

There will be an exciting raffle and we will be confirming some of the prizes soon, tickets can be bought in advance or on the night.

THE only pub in Chilmark is closing and the manager hopes that one day villagers will 'get the pub they wanted'.
