It's Sunday.... Amesbury's Scarecrow Trail starts at 2pm from Wyndham Hall on Church Street.

This could be the 1st scarecrow you see....why not pop into Amesbury History Centre this morning before we close at 12.30pm for a look around and a brew ☕🍰.

🧁Celebrate UK National Cupcake Day🧁at Amesbury History Centre TODAY 🧁

Cupcakes were 1st mentioned in an American cookbook in 1796. Before cake tins became a thing these little cakes were baked in individual pottery cups.
Around about the same time in the UK we came to know these little cakes as 🧚Fairy Cakes🧚. Named for their petite size it was thought such a cake perfect for a fairy.

Try one in our Café today 9.30am til 3.30pm, same tomorrow but closed all day Wednesday.
