Yesterday I spent a lovely afternoon at the Allotment and Gardens Association Summer Show. It has been a challenging year weather wise for growers, but you wouldn’t have known it from the fabulous displays of vegetables, fruit, flowers and homemade produce! It was great fun to walk the allotment sites judging scarecrows! 🙂

Beautiful sunset viewed from Stratford Social Club yesterday evening.
It was lovely to meet with local residents to discuss a range of issues.
I am at the club on the third Thursday of every month, from 7 - 9pm to meet with residents of our wonderful ward, as is our Wiltshire Councillor, John Wells.
Please do come and see us.

Lovely morning at the AGAS plant sale and seed swap on Fisherton allotments. The dedicated volunteers were raising funds for Salisbury Hospice and lots of allotment holders kindly gave plants to sell. Allotments and Gardens Association Salisbury

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who has completed the consultation to replace the Wyndham Road Footbridge and have commented on the plans for the Victoria Road Footbridge. There is now over 800 responses! Only one week left, so please complete the consultation and encourage anyone you know who has links to the footbridges, to do so. If you need paper copies, the lovely people in the Information Centre at the Guildhall, will be happy to help. 🌞
