We're inviting you to share your vision for the future of Saltash.

We're gathering evidence as part of the development of our Neighbourhood Priorities Statement, and we want to understand what matters most to our community and the priorities that could influence future planning decisions.

Share your views on housing, employment, transport, community facilities, green spaces and infrastructure.

The public engagement and survey will run at the Library Hub from 9 October, 9am until 31 October, 5pm.

Extraordinary Planning & Licensing Committee Meeting

Representatives from Cavendish Consulting, acting on behalf of Aldi, will be attending Saltash Town Council’s Extraordinary Planning & Licensing Committee Meeting to be held on Tuesday 27 October at 6:30pm at Saltash Wesley Church, to present on the updated proposals for the Burraton Field site.

Please note that there will be no access to the venue before 6:00pm.

Cavendish will have up to 20 minutes to deliver their presentation, with a further 20 minutes allocated for public questions, comments and representations.

As there may be a significant number of residents wishing to participate, members of the public are requested to submit any questions in writing using the Receiving Public Questions, Representations and Evidence Policy Form by 9:00am on Monday 26 October.

Additional public questions, comments, or representations raised during the meeting will be managed at the discretion of the Chair of the Committee. There will be no opportunity to repeat previously submitted questions; any contributions from the public gallery will primarily be limited to follow-up questions arising from those already registered.

The Town Council is working with the Saltash Wesley Church with the aim of providing a view-only live stream for anyone who wishes to observe online. Please continue to follow us for further updates.

Cornwall Local Plan – Scoping Consultation 💬

Cornwall Council are writing a plan for how Cornwall will develop over the next 10-15 years, setting out what can be built and where.

They're at the earliest stage of writing the Local Plan, and are asking for opinions on their draft vision, key facts and figures, policy ideas, and more. You can read all of the documents and share your feedback online by visiting the link below.

Saltash Town Council is gathering evidence as part of it’s Neighbourhood Priorities Statement, through a Saltash Scenario Planning engagement exercise, which will help inform Cornwall Council’s Local Plan.

Last Friday, we popped along to the Co-op on Fore Street, and on Saturday at the Meet Your Councillor event outside Saltash Heritage. Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat and shared their ideas with us!

There’s still plenty of time to get involved, and we want to hear from as many people as possible. Whether you live, work, visit, or simply care about Saltash's future, we want to hear your views.
