๐ŸŒŸ Inspiring the Next Generation! ๐ŸŒŸ

On the last day of term, Team PE and Team Performing Arts joined forces to support Sir Robert Geffery's Primary School with their "Staying Alive" Morning.

Our fantastic Sports Leaders and Performing Arts Time2Lead students delivered a range of engaging workshops for pupils in Years 3โ€“6, demonstrating exceptional leadership, confidence and teamwork throughout the event.

The primary school staff were incredibly impressed with the maturity, enthusiasm and leadership skills shown by our students, describing them as outstanding role models. It was wonderful for the younger pupils to see what they can look forward to as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.

We are incredibly proud of all the students involved for representing our school community so positively and for inspiring the next generation of learners.

Well done, everyone! ๐Ÿ‘โญ

Before the half-term break, on Friday 22 May, we said a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 13 students as they completed their journey at Saltash Community School.

We came together to celebrate their achievements, hard work, resilience and dedication throughout their A Level studies. Students enjoyed a special farewell assembly, received unique award certificates, and reflected on seven years of memories through some fantastic photographs from Years 7โ€“13.

It has been a privilege to watch this year group grow, develop and succeed during their time with us. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds for each and every one of them.

Congratulations, Year 13, and thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We wish you every success and happiness for the future.

Good luck, Class of 2025!

โœจ Yesterday, 4 students from our Student Voice team attended the annual SMART Trust Conference at Liskeard School & Community College.

Students had the opportunity to speak with Mr Buckley about a variety of important topics, tour the school with their Student Leaders, take part in debates about issues students worry about in school, and present a speech about the importance of Student Voice in major school decisions.

A huge thank you to the brilliant Year 9 Student Leaders at Liskeard School & Community College for making the day so welcoming and enjoyable! ๐Ÿ‘

We are delighted to announce that Saltash Community School has achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year! ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŽ‰

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, which recognises schools for their commitment to developing sport and competition both within school and across the wider community.

We are incredibly proud to have received this recognition and of all our pupils who have represented the school in local inter-school competitions throughout the year.

A huge well done also goes to our young volunteers, sports leaders, and officials whose hard work and dedication helped make our sporting events and competitions possible.

As part of the award application, schools are assessed across participation, competition, workforce, and clubs, and we are thrilled that the commitment and enthusiasm of our whole school community has been recognised.

Well done to everyone involved! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
