Boundary Farm is a traditional, family run, 260acre farm with 100 milking cows + followers, sheep and arable. Rach, Rich, Maisie and Tom Knowles open the farm gates and invite you to share the fun of farming, through holding various interactive open days throughout the year such as Open Farm Sunday and most recently, a 'Lambing Live' day! The days are guaranteed to be a hit with all the family, with fun and games to keep all ages amused, plenty of animals to see and cuddle and food and refreshments on site. Keep posted on this page for updates from the family - giving you an insight into farming life, as well as notice about future events. This is 1241, she’s one of Rach’s favourite cows. She is 14 years old and has never had a Holstein heifer calf, so that means all of her previous calves have been bulls or Aberdeen Angus x . Until today when she finally produced a Holstein heifer, well done 1241!

⭐️BRITAIN’S BEST BUTCHERS SHOP 2026⭐️

Last night, we visited the Meat Management Industry Awards in Birmingham as we had made the final for “Britain’s Best Butchers Shop”.

It was a stacked category, with top shops from across the country making the final, it was an absolute honour just to make it that far. 🙏

But we are incredibly pleased to announce that we WON!!! 🤯

We were astounded. Against such incredible shops from across the country, the industry judges picked our little village butchers to be named Britains Best Butchers. 🏆

We are over the moon, and would like to thank all of our amazing staff, and all the brilliant customers that have supported us for the past 34 years. This is such an incredible achievement that wouldn’t have been possible without everyone involved. ❤️

With a couple of heavy heads this morning, we’re open for the weekend, and will be putting on some amazing products to celebrate. 🙌

We have a huge amount of wild Blackberries this year at Boundary if anyone has the time,patience and a pair of wellies to come and pick them you are more than welcome, all we ask is you come to the yard and find someone who will show you the best way to go and make sure there are no tractors doing fieldwork 👍

One of the best things about dairy farming is calving down a new heifer. She’s a Yamaska daughter out of one of Rach’s favourite cows, her calf is an Angus x from our own bull Prince.

It’s mooving day on the farm. With another tb test next week we try to make it a bit easier by taking calves from the hutches and putting them into the hotel.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. When I was a lot younger we always seemed to be combining winter barley on my birthday but this year we have just about wrapped everything up, our little bit of wheat is in shed, hay is finished and all the straw is home. I don’t think we’ve ever had an easier harvest.

It's the main man's birthday, I had planned a surprise day out 80acres of straw to cart,20 acres ryegrass bales and not forgetting the 17 acres of wheat we are also combining today has put a stop to that 😂(good job he married a farmers daughter)have a lovely day doing what you love,BBQ tonight sometime 😀

UPDATE - Thank you to all the interested, we couldn’t believe the amount of interest we had. Due to the high level of interest the position has now been filled.

Due to Ollie our Sunday helper (for the last 2 years) taking up a full time agricultural job, we are looking for a replacement. The job would suit a young person (over age 15) who has an interest in animals and farming. It would involve caring for young calves as well as working with cows. Every Sunday mornings 7am-9am. Applicants need to be reliable, hard working, reasonably strong and have a good sense of humour. No experience is needed as training will be given. PM if interested. Thanks 🐄🐄
