Boundary Farm is a traditional, family run, 260acre farm with 100 milking cows + followers, sheep and arable. Rach, Rich, Maisie and Tom Knowles open the farm gates and invite you to share the fun of farming, through holding various interactive open days throughout the year such as Open Farm Sunday and most recently, a 'Lambing Live' day! The days are guaranteed to be a hit with all the family, wi

th fun and games to keep all ages amused, plenty of animals to see and cuddle and food and refreshments on site. UPDATE - Thank you to all the interested, we couldn’t believe the amount of interest we had. Due to the high level of interest the position has now been filled.

Due to Ollie our Sunday helper (for the last 2 years) taking up a full time agricultural job, we are looking for a replacement. The job would suit a young person (over age 15) who has an interest in animals and farming. It would involve caring for young calves as well as working with cows. Every Sunday mornings 7am-9am. Applicants need to be reliable, hard working, reasonably strong and have a good sense of humour. No experience is needed as training will be given. PM if interested. Thanks 🐄🐄

We’re looking forward to our Messy Nativity From Scratch at Boundary Farm on Sunday!

Just some things to remember (we don’t like being serious too often, but this stuff is important!):
🚜 It is a working farm, so there are hazards to be aware of. Please keep your children with you at all times.
🏎️ There is limited parking - if you are able to walk, please do! If you need to bring a car, our marshalls will show you where to park. (We don’t actually advise bringing your Ferrari 😉)
🥾 The farmyard will be muddy - we’d suggest wellies or sturdy boots!
❄️🧣The forecast is chilly and possibly a bit damp too and the barn is open to the elements. Warm (Christmas) jumpers and coats (and thermals?!) are a must!!
👫 Lots of the Messy team will be there, but we aren’t taking a register for this event. As above, please be aware of where your children are and who they are with. It can get very busy!
🐂🐏 Please do not feed the animals. Don’t forget we are visiting their home - so we need to keep our distance too.
🦠 Please use hand sanitiser before you eat your mince pie!
📸 We’ll be taking lots of photos of the event. Please make sure that you tell one of the team if you don’t want your child to appear on our page.
