Boundary Farm is a traditional, family run, 260acre farm with 100 milking cows + followers, sheep and arable. Rach, Rich, Maisie and Tom Knowles open the farm gates and invite you to share the fun of farming, through holding various interactive open days throughout the year such as Open Farm Sunday and most recently, a 'Lambing Live' day! The days are guaranteed to be a hit with all the family, wi

One of the best things about dairy farming is calving down a new heifer. She’s a Yamaska daughter out of one of Rach’s favourite cows, her calf is an Angus x from our own bull Prince.

It’s mooving day on the farm. With another tb test next week we try to make it a bit easier by taking calves from the hutches and putting them into the hotel.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. When I was a lot younger we always seemed to be combining winter barley on my birthday but this year we have just about wrapped everything up, our little bit of wheat is in shed, hay is finished and all the straw is home. I don’t think we’ve ever had an easier harvest.

It's the main man's birthday, I had planned a surprise day out 80acres of straw to cart,20 acres ryegrass bales and not forgetting the 17 acres of wheat we are also combining today has put a stop to that 😂(good job he married a farmers daughter)have a lovely day doing what you love,BBQ tonight sometime 😀

Anyone who has had anything to do with us here at Boundary Farm knows if you want anything sorting don’t bother asking Rich, Maisie or Tom! Just go straight to the top and ask Rach! She can sort most problems and always has a solution for those “difficult “questions in her legendary “Book of Alternative Answers “

UPDATE - Thank you to all the interested, we couldn’t believe the amount of interest we had. Due to the high level of interest the position has now been filled.

Due to Ollie our Sunday helper (for the last 2 years) taking up a full time agricultural job, we are looking for a replacement. The job would suit a young person (over age 15) who has an interest in animals and farming. It would involve caring for young calves as well as working with cows. Every Sunday mornings 7am-9am. Applicants need to be reliable, hard working, reasonably strong and have a good sense of humour. No experience is needed as training will be given. PM if interested. Thanks 🐄🐄
