Brilliant GCSE and vocational results achieved by Sawtry Village Academy students.
Celebrations were underway at Sawtry Village Academy as families, teachers, and Year 11 students gathered for GCSE Results Day.
Simon Parsons, Principal of Sawtry Village Academy, said: “I’ve been so impressed with how hard our students have worked this year, so it's wonderful to see them rewarded with such brilliant results.
“Many Year 11s went above and beyond with their exam preparation and have exceeded their targets. I look forward to seeing all they go on to achieve as they begin apprenticeships, college, or join our Sixth Form.”
Notable achievements include:
Hayden Tsang who achieved eight grade 9s and two grade 8s.
Sofia Svensson who achieved three grade 9s and five grade 8s.
Daniel Spinks who achieved two grade 9s and six grade 8s.
Ella Marshall who achieved seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s.
Daisy Wright who achieved three grade 9s and six grade 8s.
Heidi Xu who achieved two grade 8s and three grade 7s.
Ryan Bronkhorst who achieved one grade 9s three grade 8s.
Riley Bridges who achieved three grade 8s, two grade 7s and five grade 6s.
Millie Mulcrone who achieved four grade 8s, four grade 7s and one grade 6.
Brodan Gibbons who achieved five grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7.
Bethany Malachowski who achieved four grade 8s and six grade 7s.
Maame Asiamah who achieved four grade 8s and two grade 7s.
Simon added: “A huge thank you goes to our dedicated teaching and support staff, as well as the families and carers of Year 11 students, whose continued support has made all the difference in shaping the students' confidence and success.”
