When people need support, every second counts. 💙💚

In July, our Reach & Respond team:
• Answered 7,826 community alarm calls
• Responded to 450 emergency call-outs, and reached 94.22% of emergencies within 45 minutes
• Had an average response time to emergencies of 22.39 minutes
• Achieved 92.1% customer satisfaction this month.

Every movement counts! 🤸‍♀️⭐ How small steps can lead to big health benefits!

The latest UK Chief Medical Officers’ Physical Activity Guidelines highlight that:
✅ Any movement is better than none
✅ Strength and balance activities are important throughout life – including for people taking GLP-1 diabetes and weight-loss medications
✅ The biggest health gains come from being inactive to being active, no matter how much you do.

The refreshed guidance also reminds us that staying active doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the gym. Everyday activities all add up, including:

🚶 Walking to the shops instead of driving
🪜 Taking the stairs instead of the lift
🌱 Gardening
💃 Dancing
🧹 Household chores
🎈 Active play with the kids.
