Excellent!! "Pre loading" now we have identified cheap supermarket booze as a factor for people's shifting drink patterns! We should see the council stepping up to the big boys at Tesco and sainsburys and putting in sanctions and promotion restrictions like they do on pubs and clubs!!
Would be very interesting to see that day where they pick on someone there own size!
Look at sainsburys and Tescos alcohol selling times!!!! Deal with them it is not one rule for one, one rule for another!!!

New figures
69% of crime and 74% of anti social behaviour incidents, around st Nicholas street and St Thomas street, well surely that could be something to do with the fact that the main pubs and clubs are on this strip?
At least we know where the hotspots are, now all we have to do is police it and control it!
So with the aid of;
Police
CCTV
Street angels
Door staff
Taxi watch
Draft strategy action plan
We should be able to reduce that 69% shouldn't we?

Hello everyone, Thankyou too those people who have joined the Confederacy so far.
I appreciate the feed back. I would like to explore the possibility of setting up a simple night log.
Why can't we check our vehicles before we go to bed. Log the time.
If you have 50 houses on your street, that's 50 sets of eyes checking the street at different times. Log down strangers and the times seen.
Iam sure there's other things we can do to keep an eye out on our own street.

The confederacy would like to know from the people who live in Scarborough what they believe is necessary to secure and maintain a safe environment for its patrons indulging in Scarborough's nightlife???
We would like to make our position clear we would like to share ideas and concerns about where possible failings are allowing our citizens to be under threat of violence or serious injury?

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man wanted on recall to prison, who has links to Scarborough.



David Glasgow, 44, was recently released from prison and has failed to comply with strict conditions imposed by the probation service which limited his movements after his release.

The posts I am reading this morning are utterly shocking a man on a 50th birthday night out got attacked and kicked outside scholars pub last night! The man is believed to have been transported to hull general with suspected brain damage!! This sleepy town seems not to be sleepy anymore with all the police, pcso's, street angels and night marshals this is still happening , we need to make this town safe for our children, not let these low lives take over what's going on!!!!
