This week is so what better time to say a big ‘Thank You’ to the many volunteers who make our library the wonderful place that it is!

The Library is run entirely by volunteers and its continued success is wholly dependent on their efforts.

We always need more help so why not join us and enjoy the many social benefits of belonging to our friendly group, whilst making an important contribution to the community.

If you are interested in volunteering, call in to the library or visit the website to find out more.

Are you looking forward to getting back into the routine after half term? Perhaps it’s time to sign up to these free sessions and take some “time out” to meet other parents and increase your confidence in parenting little ones.
Parents’ feedback from the last course included “It would be really lovely to see more parents access this course as it’s really helpful and positive” and “it was fun and informative “……

We have been such busy bees at the library this month. We've celebrated Baby Booktime's 10th birthday with an anniversary special and two brilliant May Music sessions.

We've been to visit our friends in Acorns Class at Hackness and Wykeham Church of England Schools Federation and the Nursery and Reception Classes at East Ayton Primary School.

1st Forge Valley Brownies have been busy in our garden planting wildflowers, strawberries and herbs. We have even kicked off the half term holiday by celebrating World Bee Day with some local beekeepers!

We can't wait to go on more mini-beast story adventures in June, with two under 5s story times and some more school visits!
