Following a lively and competitive recruitment campaignโculminating in vibrant live auditions on Saturday 28 FebruaryโSeaford Town Council is delighted to proclaim ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ป as the new ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ.
This prestigious honorary role has been created to support Seafordโs much loved Town Crier and Serjeant at Mace, ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ช๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฒ, who has proudly served the town since Queen Elizabeth IIโs Silver Jubilee in 1977. As one of the longest serving Town Criers in the country, and as he approaches an extraordinary 50 years in the role, Peter is eager to share his wealth of experience with a deputy who will help uphold Seafordโs traditionsโand eventually carry the bell forward for future generations.
