📶Offline Clubs: A creative Space for Ages 11-16

North Yorkshire libraries want to Create welcoming, device-free spaces where young people can relax, try new activities, revisit old interests and discover how reading can support their hobbies and passions.

Offline Clubs will be largely self-directed, giving young people ownership of the experience while library staff and volunteers provide support and coordination.

Maybe you could try a new craft, get journaling or join a board game group.

If you're aged between 11-16, then join us on Monday evenings from 4.00-6.30pm!

💻🔒 PCSO Drop-In at Selby Library: Staying Safe Online 🔒💻

As part of Get Online Week 2026, we're welcoming our local PCSO to Selby Library for a special drop-in session focusing on staying safe online.

Find out how to spot scams, protect your personal information, and stay safe while browsing, shopping, and connecting online.

This is also the PCSO's regular community drop-in session, so you're welcome to come along to discuss any local concerns, ask questions about community safety, or simply have a chat.

We've got a jam-packed week of free sessions and support at Selby Library, offering help and advice on all things digital.

Whether you're looking to improve your confidence online, learn essential digital skills, discover useful websites and apps, stay safe online, or get more from your device, we're here to help.

Can't get online? Can't get by. Let us help you build the skills and confidence needed for everyday life.

We're delighted to be working with our partners from North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Building Society, who will be joining us throughout the week to provide expert advice and support on topics including online safety, scams, fraud awareness, and financial wellbeing.
