The Vine Cricket Ground was given to Sevenoaks in 1773 by the owner of Knole House. At the annual peppercorn ceremony today Sevenoaks Cricket Club paid Sevenoaks Town Council via the Mayor 1 peppercorn and Sevenoaks Mayor paid Lord Sackville 1 cricket ball

Currently HITb Youth Cafe is open in the evening and Saturdays for 11 - 18 year olds. We are considering some changes for the future and would welcome some feedback on the following ideas please

1. Opening maybe from 4 - 6.30 for 8 -11 year olds, one or two evenings per week.

2. Operating 1/2 day school holiday clubs.

Statement from Sevenoaks Town Council
Relating to Travellers on Brittains Lane Common

Thank you to everyone who has notified the Town Council regarding the Travellers who arrived at Brittains Land Common yesterday evening.

Sevenoaks Town Council are landowners of this registered common land and are therefore responsible for the leading proceedings for removal of trespassers.

Sevenoaks Town Council has commenced these legal proceedings today.
