Minster on Sea Parish Council will be holding an Extraordinary Planning Committee meeting on Thursday 18 June 2026 at 7pm.

The main agenda item for this extraordinary meeting shall be the Reserved Matters 26/501872/REM relating to planning application 22/502086/OUT for the Land to the East of Scocles Road.

Amazing scenes at the Big Green Week Litter Pick this morning at Barton Point.
16 bags collected by 11 volunteers!
Thanks to everyone who came along and keep your eyes peeled on here, our website and noticeboard as we hope to run monthly litter picks at various locations in Minster, as well as the monthly beach cleans that take place along Minster Beach.

A small but mighty team came along for the Sheppey Womble Day litter pick at The Glen and collected three bags of litter which will be collected by Swale Borough Council Cleansing Team.
As always, we urge all users of The Glen to keep it clean and tidy, there are SIX bins, all within a short walking distance of the playground area.
The majority of litter collected today was drinks cans and bottles, ‘biodegradable’ carrier bags and poo bags and vapes.
We have litter picking equipment available to borrow at Minster on Sea Parish Council offices, please email [email protected] if you are interested

It looks like we’ve seen the worst of the rain off so our Litter Pick at The Glen will go ahead at 10am as planned.
