We are very pleased to announce that, Ryan Kidby, the former chairman of Reform's Faversham & Mid Kent Branch has joined Restore Britain!

Ryan is a British Army veteran, who saw action in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is also a local businessman, a family man, and a proud patriot of this nation!

Like many a few years ago, he joined Reform because he saw where the country was heading and wanted to do something about it. He saw first hand the kinds of people that have been allowed to enter this country, and wanted to put a stop to it.

He fought for the grassroots within Reform and was overlooked. He saw the rot that was being allowed into that party and couldn't put up with it any longer.

He is not a man who will ever compromise on his principles, that's why he's joined Restore Britain. Ryan is doing the right thing, and standing for what he truly believes in!

Welcome, Ryan!

I have requested a deep clean of Granville Road after multiple reports from residents that the street is highly littered.

Across Swale, we are seeing the decimation of our farmland and wildlife that thrive on it.

The local Restore Britain is 100% against any more housebuilding in the Borough. It doesn't serve to support local residents, rather it serves to make developers a whole lot richer and destroy the demographics of our towns.

The farmland we are seeing covered by houses served our towns for centuries, the loss of it is detrimental to our area!

We believe that any councillors who've supported this destructive house building are traitors to local people! We don't care about the 'economic benefits' it apparently brings, because we see it for what it is - destruction.

Please be aware it seems the traffic lights on Queenborough Road opposite the shell garage are not working. I have contacted highways to have this dealt with. Please be careful if you’re going that direction.

I’m pleased to let residents know that I still have some of my Combined Members Grant funding remaining for this financial year.

If you’re part of a local community group, charity, school initiative, sports club, or voluntary organisation that could benefit from a small grant to support a project in our area, please do get in touch.

These grants are there to support grassroots projects that make a real difference locally. whether that’s equipment, events, improvements, or new initiatives that benefit residents.

If you have an idea or would like to check eligibility, send me a message or email me directly and I’ll be happy to discuss it.

Let’s make sure the funding is used to support our community!

Yet again roadworks and road closures are causing congestion and delays in Sheppey.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen multiple road closures happening at the same time. Since May 2025, these have caused serious delays and traffic problems across Sheppey.

While I understand that essential works need to take place, better coordination is needed so existing works are considered and unnecessary congestion is avoided. Residents shouldn’t be facing repeated disruption due to poor planning.

I have emailed highways to address these concerns.
