Rivelin Valley Water Play is now open!

We're so sorry that this wasn't available sooner - due to the nature of the work required it has to be carried out just before the facilities open to ensure water safety.

We experienced unavoidable delays in being able to start the work which meant we couldn't safely welcome visitors as originally indicated on our opening and closing signage.

All works are now complete and the splash park is open from today (Thursday 28th May) 10am-4:30pm, and every weekend up to the summer holidays, then it's open every day - yay!

Our sincere apologies for not updating the signs and online information and a big thank you for your patience!

We look forward to welcoming families and visitors to enjoy some cool down fun as the warm weather continues over the next few days. 💦☀️

Come along to Rivelin Valley Water Play to enjoy paddling and playing. It's off Rivelin Valley Road near Rivelin Park Cafe. There is a variety of easily operated interactive water play equipment, such as jets, sprinklers, bucket drops and water tables. Opening times and dates Rivelin Valley Water Pl...

If you visited Rivelin Vallley water play during the bank holiday weekend and found it closed, we apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience caused.

We have been carrying out essential works to maintain water quality and site safety.

We aim to have the water play open again later this week and will provide an update as soon as it's ready for action, then it's yours for the whole summer! 💦

Help Sheffield General Cemetery celebrate it's 190th birthday! Some brilliant activities going on across the weekend and into half term and there really is something for all ages😊🎂

Half term is almost here and we've got the perfect day out for little explorers (and it’s pay as you feel!) 🐛🔍

As part of our 190th birthday celebrations, join us for a Big Bug Hunt on Tuesday 26th May where little ones can hunt for minibeasts, examine specimens under the microscope, build a giant bird's nest and finish up with arts and crafts in the Samuel Worth Chapel 🐞

And if you haven't already booked - there are just a few places left on our Planetarium experience this Bank Holiday Weekend, so be sure to grab your tickets before they're gone (remember, kids go free!) 🌌
