There are rumours circulating on Facebook in relation to an incident yesterday where Police were called to the public park on Foster Way, High green, Sheffield. The report was of a male acting strangely, hanging around near the childrens play area. Officers attended the location and dealt with the incident. To try and put people's minds at rest: The male was there due to an incident at his home address. He didn't pose any threat to any member of the public or any children in the location. There is no need for anyone to be concerned regarding this incident as it appears to be a false call made to the police but made with good intent.
