Pitsmoor Adventure Playground Pitsmoor Adventure Playground offers and supports a variety of play opportunities to children and you PLAY IS FOR EVERYONE.

Play is freedom to be, to 'fail', to have fun, to be scared, to make and break friends, to laugh, to cry, to sing, dance, be ''silly'', building bridges between cultures and families. We welcome children, young people and families from all walks of life to offer and support their play choices.

A day full of celebration and creativity.😁

Happy Birthday to our long term parent helper who's smile could luanch a thousand ships , Lana. Thank you for sharing your birthday with your playground family.
A decade ago Lana discovered Pitsmoor Adventure Playground and visited with her young daughter frequently.

Over the years Lana has invited many, many new families who were new to our city and helped them all be part of something wonderful too! ❤️

Thank you Lana for all your kindness and support that you have shared with all the team at PAP and helping other families to develop a sence of belonging, to have a safe place for their children to play and a real opportunity to make significant connections with others. 😘
You are amazing! 👏

Enjoy your special day from all the team, our children and their families ! 🤩💙❤️💜💛

🎉 Sheffield Week of Play 2026 is nearly here! 🎉

We're getting ready to celebrate all things play across Sheffield!

Over the next few weeks, we're inviting you to help us celebrate the brilliant things that make play possible in our communities.

Our question for this year's Week of Play is:

✨ What makes where you live a great place to play? ✨

📣 HOW TO GET INVOLVED

We'd love as many people and organisations across Sheffield to join in!

Simply ask those you're working with the question and share their answer on your social media during Sheffield Week of Play - 26th October during half-term.

✅ Use our Week of Play logo (find on our socaisl and our website)
✅ Share one child or young person's answer
✅ Tag us in your post
✅ Use and

No big plans or extra activities needed - just one question, one answer and a chance to celebrate play together!

Let's show everyone the brilliant things happening across Sheffield. 💚

Yesterday we celebrated the October Birthdays to ensure even during our busiest of times we take time out to show our appreciation to these 2 wonderful people!!🤩🤩

Yanina our dedicated chairperson on the board of trustees and Patrick Amber our extraordinarily talented Artist in Residence were showered with flowers and little gifts from our children and the team at Pitsmoor Adventure Playground. ❤️

Thank you both for years and years of support, creativity and always always showing the true value of PLAY by putting it first.👏

Enjoy your October celebrations during your special days whilst being surrounded by such blasts of colour and love from us all. 🤩😘🍁🍂🎂🍰

Thank you to all those that joined us for our coffee afternoon. We collected some valuable observations and concerns surrounding our neighborhood.

We will post our next date on FB and hope to go from strength to strength. Thank you Bonnie Tesco Savile street Community champion for donating biscuits and cake. 😊

I was asked by parents "What sort of things matter?"
We replied " If there is anything that you see, experience or hear about that could prevent any member of your community to be able to thrive as they should... let's talk! " 😊

We will report back next time from the queries and concerns that were documented. 🧡🩷

Heart felt thanks to all our parents/carers who contributed to the feedback journal.
Such beautiful comments and reflections over many years. Famiies continue to value our wonderful safe play space and our children continue to merrily and successfully direct their own play, 😁 doing what they want with whom they want, when they want! 🫶

Such a supportive community we have. 🩷❤️🧡🩶🖤💙
Thank you Amy Snow and Sarah Anne Kesteven for a counter full of boriitos, salad and fruit. Loving the healthy choices. 👌

All our parents/carers who contributed over the last 2 weeks received a ticket for a prize draw as a little extra.
Well done Lana for winning the shopping voucher that was donated. 🤩

A brilliant start with the lantern making too.
Patrick Amber 😁😁
