Wow!

Recently, one of our engineers completed an Automist installation at a truly unique property near Alnwick - a castellated observatory built by the first Duke of Northumberland to view his estate, with the adjoining cottage added for an employee to maintain the folly.

Here’s some photos from a recent service in a stunning property in Dulwich.

In the first photo, you’ll notice the nozzle scanning the room… But what’s it actually doing??? 👀

After initially being triggered by a ceiling - mounted, multi - sensor detector, this intelligent system uses built-in infrared sensors to measure the temperatures within the rooms, looking for an exceptionally high-temperature reading, or a differential increase between scans.
Once the temperature exceeds a threshold, that head is deemed to have successfully located a fire and the pump turns on, delivering watermist exactly where is needed to suppress the fire quickly and effectively!
