Little City - Sheffield We are an entirely mobile role play City for the under 6’s to explore and enjoy.

Utilising our bespoke backdrops and specially selected high-quality toys and equipment, your child can fully immerse themselves in their own world and welcome you in too!

EXCITING NEWS !! ⭐ WE'RE HIRING ⭐

We are looking for a part time play maker to join our team!
Days/ Hours will be Ad-hoc so great to fit around other work/ children.

✅ Key Responsibilities
Deliver fun and engaging School workshops and parties
Tidying and replacing toys throughout events
Maintain a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all
Engaging with children and their adults
Follow safeguarding and Health and Safety Procedures
Ensure sessions run safely and smoothly

⭐ Qualities needed for the role
Well organised
Enjoy working with children
Energetic, friendly and confident
Reliable and punctual
Good communication skills
Passionate about play, learning and Early Childhood development
Willing to complete Enhanced DBS check and First Aid Training
Be able to drive a van and hold a full licence

⏰ Hours & Pay
ADHOC Flexible position available
Pay above NMW

Various schools & halls across South Yorkshire

📣 CALLING ALL SCHOOL, PRE-SCHOOL, NURSERY AND ALTERNATIVE PROVISION STAFF!

Have you booked your 2026/2027 Little City visit yet?

There are so many ways that educational settings use Little City visits, including:

🏫 Welcoming your new starters (and their families) in to school in
🏫 Careers Week in March
🏫 Christmas treats
🏫 People Who Help Us topic
🏫 Aspiration topic
🏫 Develop social and communication skills

BENEFITS:
- Minimal admin (does this exist anywhere else in education??)
- Workshops are inclusive
- No expensive transport needed
- No additional staffing needed, like you would for external visits
- Children with additional needs can access the city as and when they want to without leaving their 'safe space'.
-- Visits from as little as £3.32 per child (based on 5 classes of 30 children visiting over a full day)

There’s BIG news in Little City…and we couldn’t be more excited to share it! 🏙️💛
Little City UK has teamed up with the fabulous Jo and Nic from Crinkly Cloth Newspapers to create our very own Little City cloth newspaper!

You may have already spotted some of Jo and Nic’s other brilliant crinklys dotted around the City during your Little City adventures 👀📰 - they’re always a firm favourite with our little visitors, so creating a very special Little City edition together felt like the perfect next step! 💛

It captures so many of the little details that make a Little City session special - familiar places, busy little people and plenty of opportunities for storytelling and play.
We absolutely LOVE how it has turned out and are so excited that Little City has been brought to life in this gorgeous, crinkly newspaper. 📰💛

And we also want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the wonderful parents, carers and little ones who joined us for our photoshoot this month! 📸💛 And Lisa from who took all the fabulous snaps!

Our little stars did the most brilliant job showing off the brand-new crinkly cloth newspaper while doing what they do best - playing, exploring and bringing Little City to life! 🏙️✨ We loved seeing them get stuck in, and we can’t wait to share more of the gorgeous photos with you.

We are just running 2 dates this year due to my maternity and Issy having to juggle schools, sessions & parties solo.
