Our superbly equipped laboratories and high qualified personnel are widely acknowledged for both the range of testing and analysis procedures and their impressive expertise - which has resulted in Analytical Services being one of the first UK laboratories to be awarded UKAS accreditation to ISO 17025 standard. Diamond Verification Services (DVS) offers a set diamond service: a diamond jewellery testing service designed to verify that all diamonds within your jewellery are natural. A closer look at Acanthus XVI, a wall sconce designed and made by Shinta Nakajima at Yorkshire Art Space, Persistence Works.

Crafted in sterling silver with 9ct gold plating, the piece was acquired by Sheffield Assay Office in 2024 and highlights the skill and detail found within contemporary silversmithing.
