We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded a Schools Games Mark Platinum Award for 2025-26!

This award recognises the hard work that goes into the careful planning and delivery of Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity! Following four previous 'Gold' Awards, the Platinum certification highlights the sustained effort that Oughtibridge Primary School has put into promoting sport and physical activity to our pupils!

🎶 What a fantastic afternoon at our Spotlight on Oughtibridge Musicians concert! 🎶

It was a wonderful celebration of the incredible musical talent we have at Oughtibridge, with pupils from Year 1 right through to Year 6 taking to the stage to showcase their hard work and dedication. We were treated to brilliant performances from our drummers, guitarists, bassists, violinists and pianists, and every single performer should be immensely proud of themselves.

Thank you to all of our talented young musicians for sharing their music with such confidence, to our families for their wonderful support, and to our instrumental teachers and school staff who helped make the afternoon such a success.

A truly fabulous celebration of music-making at Oughtibridge—well done, everyone! 🎵👏

Y1 have had a visit from Rebecca from Alfresco Learning, who has delivered their WOW Day! They have built their own castle using 3D shapes, and even created their own family crest - all in the wonderful outdoors.

A big thank you to Rebecca, and to Supporters of Oughtibridge School - SOS for funding a wonderful experience.

KS1 & FS2 have had an amazing day working with Casey from Savage Martial Arts. They have learnt kicks and punches, but also resilience and self-control.

Year 5 have loved taking part in the Little Swing project this half term. Last Friday, this all culminated with the Oughtibridge Jazz Club, where children performed their swing and jazz moves with a live jazz trio! Huge thanks to the Lowe Academy of Music and the Arts for their work!
