We’re looking for an exceptional multi-disciplinary team to help us create a bold and practical 10-Year Transformation Vision and Route Map for The Green Estate CIC Headquarters in Manor Castle, Sheffield.
Over the past two decades, we’ve been demonstrating how communities, nature, heritage and enterprise can work together to transform urban places. More recently, with support from partners and funders, we’ve undertaken extensive research, feasibility work, co-design and strategic planning to explore how we could become a nationally recognised Advanced Urban Resilience Centre.
Now we’re ready for the next step.
With funding from South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, we’re inviting tenders to help us bring this work together into a compelling Masterplan to 2036.
This is not a traditional master planning exercise. Much of the groundwork has already been completed. We’re looking for a collaborative partner who can work alongside our staff, associates and specialist Task & Finish Team to synthesise existing evidence and co-design:
✅ A compelling 10-year vision and visual narrative
✅ A practical and investable route map
✅ A suite of component investment propositions
✅ A distinctive design language for the site and place
We’re particularly interested in hearing from teams with expertise in; Place-based regeneration, Landscape architecture, Planning, Green infrastructure, Heritage and culture, Stakeholder engagement and Investment and delivery planning.
Contract value: Up to £30,000 (including VAT)
Tender opens: 6 August 2026
Submission deadline: 4 September 2026, 9.00am
Project completion: 11 December 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a nationally significant demonstration of how urban places can become greener, fairer and more resilient for generations to come.
