Educational play equipment adds a new dimension to outdoor spaces, encouraging children to explore, think, communicate and learn through play.

It can help support cognitive development, fine motor skills, concentration and social interaction – all while keeping the experience enjoyable and engaging.

By adding educational elements to playgrounds, we create spaces where physical activity and learning naturally come together. Because the best kind of learning often happens when children don’t even realise they are learning. 💛

🏘️ Not much space for a playground? That doesn’t mean you have to give up on impressive play equipment.

CubeScape is a line of compact playground equipment designed for spaces where functionality and a small footprint matter. Despite their compact size, the products offer plenty of activities - climbing, sliding and discovering different elements of the structure.

The CubeScape line includes:
🔹 Box "Breeze" with a slide
🔹 Box "Bee" with a slide
🔹 Box "Lagoon"

Compact form, eye-catching design and plenty of opportunities for play - even in smaller spaces.

Regular playground inspections are an essential part of keeping play spaces safe, functional and enjoyable for children. 🛝

Over time, even high-quality playground equipment is exposed to intensive use, changing weather conditions and natural wear. Regular checks help identify potential hazards early - from loose connections and worn moving parts to damaged surfaces, structural issues or changes within safety zones.

Inspections are not only about checking the equipment itself. They are also about making sure that the entire play environment continues to meet relevant safety requirements and remains suitable for everyday use.

At Lars Laj, safety has always been one of the foundations of good playground design. Because creating a great playground is only the beginning - maintaining a safe place to play is a continuous process.

Safe play starts with regular care. 💛

🌿 Wooden playgrounds combine natural aesthetics, durability and timeless design. Wood blends beautifully with greenery, residential architecture and recreational spaces, making the playground a coherent part of its surroundings.

The Lars Laj range includes several wooden product lines - Classic Nature, Modern Nature, Nature and Nature Nordic Swan Ecolabel - from simple, compact play elements to extensive sets filled with slides, walkways and climbing features. 🌳

The natural character of wood makes these playgrounds a perfect fit for parks, residential areas, schools, kindergartens and recreational spaces. They encourage activity while blending harmoniously into the landscape.

🌏 Lars Laj in Asia!

It has been an intensive time for us in Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore - full of meetings, inspiration and new experiences.

In Malaysia, our representatives took part in a business mission combined with a visit to ARCHIDEX 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. It was a great opportunity to explore trends in the Southeast Asian market, talk to industry professionals and establish new business contacts.

We also visited Vietnam, where we met with our local Lars Laj partner, discussed further cooperation and visited playgrounds that we have successfully completed in this market.

In Singapore, we explored local play spaces and design solutions, which are a valuable source of inspiration for us.

We are returning from Asia with new knowledge, ideas and energy to continue developing the Lars Laj brand in international markets. 🌍

A great playground is not created next to a development. It is created together with it - as a thoughtfully designed part of the space that residents will use every day.

At Lars Laj, we support property developers at different stages of creating recreational areas: we advise, help select the right solutions, and adapt them to the character of the development and its surroundings.

One of our recent projects shows the result of this approach. Natural wood, a forest-inspired theme, and playground equipment integrated into modern architecture create a space that does not compete with its surroundings - it complements them.

This is what we value most: when functionality, play, and aesthetics come together in one project.

Planning a recreational area for your development? Contact us and let’s talk about a solution tailored to your project.
We support you from the initial idea to the completed playground.
