☀️The Funday has arrived ☀️Shefford Town Council will be open TODAY Saturday 20 June 2026 from 12pm - 2pm
☀️☀️

We are giving away free drinks vouchers (first come first serviced) courtesy of Roses of Ducklane Cafe to grab a hot or cold drink between 12-1☕️🥤🥛🫖

There will be crafts, information on Summer programmes, opportunity to chat with councillors. 🎨🖌️🖼️💬

* Shefford Town Council will be the first aid point of contact / lost child ⛑️

In the centre of town this from mid-day until 5pm!

Free fun fair rides for the little ones, plus character visits at intervals throughout the afternoon.

Crafts at the library and Shefford Town Council.

In St Michaels & All Angels Church Sustainable Shefford will have their Green Fair from 2-5pm.

Outside Jardines in the High St we will have delicious Indonesian street food, brownies, blondies and cookies, plus an ice cream van!

BEST Summer Arts Festival (Thursday 25th June 2026) is an annual outdoor event, with music, drama, dance, art and media displays.

The Addams Family Musical (Wednesday 8th July 2026 - Friday 10th July 2026) is a musical comedy performed by SWA students.

There’s still time to have your say on the future of Central Bedfordshire.

Our Local Plan scoping consultation is open until 3 June 2026 and is a chance to tell us whether the issues and priorities we’ve identified are the right ones as we develop the plan.

The Local Plan will guide how Central Bedfordshire grows up to 2050, including the homes, jobs and infrastructure we need, while helping to protect our communities and environment.

Our Local Plan scoping consultation is now open.
In 2024, we asked what was important in making somewhere a great place to live and what should be included in the new Local Plan. This consultation is a chance to tell us whether those issues and priorities are still the right ones as we develop the plan.

It’s a chance to just catch up, share concerns or suggestions to improve Shefford as a place to live, work, and visit.
