Come and join us at our lively shared reading group at Shepton Mallet Library. Everyone is welcome to join in the conversations but there is no pressure to read aloud.
Our group meets every Friday at 11am and lasts for about 90 minutes. Tea and biscuits are provided, and the library has a toilet.
If you’re interested or want to know more, reply to this post and we’ll pass your request to the group.
Our group is part of The Reader (Charity Registration Number 1126806). Every week, The Reader brings people together at Shared Reading groups across the UK for people to connect and share experiences using stories and poems.

We enjoyed a fantastic craft session this morning, linked to this year’s Summer Reading Challenge- ‘Read to the Beat’.

Our very talented, younger library members made their own musical instruments, created collages and impressed us with their painting skills.

Thank you so much to everyone who came.
