What is the Shepton Mallet Neighbourhood Plan?

It is a document that aims to set out a framework to influence planning decisions and to protect the rich heritage and diversity of our town.

The document is the result of significant work over many years, led by a local team of volunteers, supported by Shepton Mallet Town Council, assisted by consultants and involving residents and community members.

The document is now open for consultation, which runs from 15 May until 25 June. Every resident of Shepton Mallet has an opportunity to comment on the plan.
