Dogs at The Romsey Show on Saturday

We have consulted with our Show vets and the Show would encourage visitors to seriously consider leaving their dogs at home on Saturday due to the predicted temperatures on the day.

We would strongly suggest any dogs that are of the brachycephalic breeds do not attend the Show, due to increased heat stroke risk and not a huge amount of shade available on the showground. We appreciate this does apply to other breeds as well and visitors know their dog. Please do make your dogs health a main priority.

Based on all of this we have made a decision to cancel the family dog show and the scurry competition. Under no circumstances are dogs to be left in cars. Our security team will immediately take action should a dog be found in a vehicle.

We have four vets covering the Show on Saturday and the ability to get exhibiting animals off the site if this is required at any point.

Looking forward to supporting Romsey Show after 3 years away.

The showground preparations have started!

Today the team started pe***ng out the site, with the help of some GPS...watch this space as the site turns from a field to a showground!

This weekend we are supporting Weekend at Jays at Bath and West Showground. The event organisers have made some difficult but right decisions with regards to fire safety at the event.

We have had some good rain here in Somerset, however this has been followed by more prolonged sunshine so the high fire risk is still very much present.

If you’re attending please help keep this event and the surrounding area safe by keeping to the site rules. We understand this is likely to be an inconvenience to some, however it’s the right decision in this current dry spell.

How wonderful to be back at events!

Last week was a busy one for us.

Firstly, back where it all began: providing equipment and event fire support for the New Forest and Hampshire County Show. Always a brilliant show, and a great, friendly team.

Then straight to Bristol to support SlamminEvents at Sequences for the weekend, again, with equipment and event fire support. A new event for us and great to be part of.

Now looking forward to the next one. 👍

Great to have a crew at Brighton Speed Trials again this year, a fantastic effort by the team to get this event off the ground in just 21 days, well done to Len for all his hard work.
