๐ SHILDON POLICE โ WEEKLY UPDATE ๐
Itโs been another busy week for the team here in Shildon, with officers dealing with a wide range of incidents, safeguarding concerns and proactive policing activity. ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ
Hereโs a snapshot of some of our work this week:
๐ด Our most wanted male was located and arrested in connection with numerous serious offences.
๐จ A female was arrested for recall to prison.
๐ Officers assisted ambulance colleagues with a medical emergency, providing support until the situation was safely dealt with.
๐ A vehicle was seized under Operation Takeaway after being found to have no insurance.
๐ A vehicle failed to stop for officers, resulting in a pursuit which was safely brought to a conclusion.
๐ A male was arrested for domestic-related offences and subsequently served with a Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO) at court.
โ๏ธ A male was arrested for breaching a court order and was returned to prison to serve a further sentence.
๐ Another male was arrested in relation to domestic-related offences.
๐ฅ A male was arrested for common assault.
๐ Officers have also attended numerous road traffic collisions (RTCs) throughout the week, assisting those involved and ensuring scenes were made safe.
๐ธ Our drone has been utilised for intelligence gathering and to assist with arrest attempts, supporting officers on the ground.
๐ Numerous individuals reported missing have been safely located, with safeguarding measures put in place where required.
๐ Officers have carried out visits to vulnerable individuals, as well as completing Safer Homes visits to help reduce risk and provide crime-prevention advice.
๐ฆธโโ๏ธ Officers were also pleased to attend the Superheroes Sponsored Walk at Locomotion, supporting the event and engaging with members of our community.
๐ง A Herbert Protocol was completed to support the safe location of a vulnerable missing person.
We have seen a rise in youth ASB in Hackworth Park this week. Can parents please be aware of where there children are/who they are associating with and what they are doing. Officers have planned patrols in the area to target the issues.
