๐ Shildon NPT Update ๐
Itโs been another extremely busy period for officers across Shildon and the surrounding areas, with the team continuing to tackle crime, safeguard vulnerable people, and respond to incidents across the community ๐
Hereโs a snapshot of what your local officers have been dealing with ๐
๐น Officers executed a drugs warrant as part of ongoing work targeting drug-related activity in the area ๐ชโ๏ธ
๐น Officers successfully located a high-risk missing person, ensuring they were returned home safely ๐
๐น One male was arrested for breach of a DVPO, criminal damage, and theft from a person. Investigations remain ongoing ๐ฎ
๐น One female arrested for assault following an incident attended by officers ๐
๐น Officers assisted ambulance colleagues with a medical incident, helping ensure the individual received urgent care ๐
โ ๏ธ Lead thefts in the area โ ๏ธ
We are continuing to investigate a recent spate of lead thefts across the areaโฆ again! Unfortunately these offences can cause huge disruption and costly damage to buildings. Please remain vigilant, keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles or behaviour, and report anything suspicious to us as soon as possible ๐๐
๐น Two females arrested for shoplifting and taken into custody following incidents reported by local businesses ๐
๐น Another high-risk missing male was safely located by officers and returned home safely ๐
๐น Officers attended an immediate response to assist Ferryhill NPT to locate a wanted male following numerous shoplifting offenses.โผ๏ธ
๐น PCSOs have carried out high-visibility patrols across Shildon and Newton Aycliffe to tackle anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance to the public ๐ฃ
๐น Officers assisted Newton Aycliffe NPT in responding to reports of off-road bikes causing nuisance and danger around local areas ๐๏ธโ
๐น One male was arrested following a missing person incident after assaulting a police officer. On a separate occasion, the same male was further arrested for possession of Class B drugs, stalking, and causing intentional fear and distress.
๐น Welfare visits have continued to be carried out for vulnerable residents across the community to ensure support is in place where needed ๐ค
๐น Officers also responded to a road traffic collision and assisted at the scene ๐๐ฅ
๐นOur Police drone has been used multiple times over the last week to locate Off Road Bikes causing a nuisance. Also used to locate wanted males following numerous offenses.
