| Officers are appealing for CCTV footage and information after an assault on a teenage girl in Shirebrook.

The incident occurred in Swanwick Avenue between 10pm and 10.30pm on 17 August when the teenager was assaulted by a teenage boy.

A group of teenagers were seen in the area around the junction of Swanwick Avenue and South Avenue between 9pm and 11.15pm and we know that a woman walked past the group at around the time of the assault.

Officers would like to speak to her as she may have information which could help with our investigation.

We’d also like to hear from anyone who has CCTV footage from the area during the times mentioned.

A Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) has been granted against a prolific offender following persistent offending and behaviour causing concern within the local community.
The order places specific restrictions on the individual, with further offences or breaches potentially resulting in additional criminal action.
