Shoreham Academy Welcome to Shoreham Academy - a vibrant and thriving school.

We are an outstanding 11-18, non-selective academy where everyone - staff and students - strive to be the best that they can be. We see each child as an individual and seek to give them an education which best suits their abilities and interests. By the time they leave the academy, we want students to be confident, responsible and articulate individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to make a real success of their lives. We focus on the whole child and so our broad and balanced curriculum is complemented by a wide ranging and exciting programme of extra-curricular activities. There is something for every child at Shoreham Academy - whatever their interests, whatever their abilities. All students participate in the ‘Shoreham Academy Experience’ with the expectation of fulfilling a number of ‘pledges’ in preparation for adult life.

Two talented Shoreham Academy students are preparing to take on the world after being selected to represent England at the ICO World Championships in Thonon-les-Bains, France, this October.

Max Murphy and Zara Alabdalla have both earned places in the England team following years of dedication, hard work and outstanding commitment to martial arts. Their selection is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the perseverance they have shown both in and out of the dojo.

We would like to say a huge ‘Thank you!’ to everyone who attended our open evening today! It was great to welcome so many prospective parents and students, show them around our fantastic facilities, and have meaningful experiences and conversations with our expert staff who really do know their stuff in their subject areas.

If you missed us, or want a more informal tour of the school, including seeing how we run each day, head to our website for those sign-up links!

Finally we’d love to know your feedback about how tonight, and our upcoming open mornings, are like. Scan the QR code on the feedback flyer handed out, or email us at [email protected]!
