Housing Support Drop-In with Shrewsbury Homes for All

Shrewsbury Homes for All is a local charity supporting people who are experiencing homelessness or facing housing difficulties. We are pleased to offer a bi-monthly Housing Support Drop-In at A4U, Louise House, Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury Homes For All's friendly and experienced team can provide practical advice and support on a range of housing issues, including:

Housing rights and options
Homelessness and preventing homelessness
Tenancy concerns
Benefits and housing costs
Navigating housing services and systems

If you need additional support, we can also offer follow-up assistance and help connect you with other relevant services.

Whether you have a specific question, need some guidance, or are unsure where to turn, you're welcome to come along for a friendly, confidential chat and find out how we can help.

No appointment needed. Everyone is welcome.

The carers support team have been asked to promote the survey of carers that is taking place between October and November, this is for carers to shape the future for carers. We would be very grateful if you could send the below on email contacts, newsletters, social media ect.



The attached can also be sent along with the communication, and where possible could this be used where there are screens to promote the survey.





Are you helping a family member, friend, neighbour or someone else because of a long-term illness, disability, physical or mental health conditions, substance misuse, or older age?



Helping someone can look like:
Washing, dressing, or cooking
Filling in forms or managing money
Making phone calls or appointments
Providing company or emotional support
Moving around or getting in and out of bed
Shopping, housework, or going to the doctor
And many other things


If you’re helping with things like this, even if it is just an hour a week, the Survey of Carers needs your voice. Without enough reliable information on unpaid carers, it’s harder for policymakers and local councils to provide the right support, and unpaid carers suffer as a result.



This is your chance to change that.



By completing the Survey of Carers, you can tell your council and the Government what would make the biggest difference to your life. This means you’ll help inform decisions made by policymakers, including your local council, about the support unpaid carers like you need. All responses are 100% anonymous. That is a Survey of Carers guarantee.

We collected fallen natural signs of autumn 🍂 , extended our Lego worlds, did some drawing ✍🏾 , created some quizzes and played with levels using ribbons 🎀 and lots more 🦆

Adult Social Care - resident survey about self-funding care and support



We want to hear from people who fund their own care, as well as family members or carers who support someone who self-funds.



Our short survey gives people an opportunity to share their experiences and help us improve the information, advice and support available.



We would also like to hear from people who are interested in working with us to review our self-funding information and processes, share their views and help us make future improvements.



Please share the survey with the people you work with, your communities, friends and family members who may be interested in finding out more and completing the survey.

Today at SEND family Moving and Grooving session we;

Played with ribbons, 🎀 cars 🚗 and trains 🚂
Created 3 Musical 🎶 themed quizzes
and observed the birds 🦢 on the Mere, noticing 👁️ how they interacted, what we heard, how they lived.
and played lots of narrative based LEGO

Escape club nights are run by Taking Part and held at the Hive Shrewsburymedia centre, Belmont, Shrewsbury.

Doors open at 7pm (if you arrive early, you could go for a walk or visit a cafe or pub)

£3 entry carers are FREE

The Escape club nights finish at 9pm
