We are back from the butchers and our fresh pork sausages are now in the tea room fridge!
We have a limited number available to purchase at the farm, or you can order online to guarantee the number you require. You can collect these any day 10am until 5pm but we will be popping them in the freezer on Sunday evening, so they will be frozen if you come from Monday onwards.

Egg Lovers – You may have seen in the news recently about people falling ill from IMPORTED eggs.

Yes, imported eggs—not British. 🇬🇧

When you buy British, you can easily check the stamp on the shell. Free Range British eggs start with a ⁠1⁠ (for Free Range) followed by ⁠UK⁠ and a unique farm producer code (e.g., ⁠1UK12345⁠).

British egg producers operate under a rigorous National Control Programme for Salmonella, some of the most rigorous food safety standards in the world. As a Lion Code Accredited Farm, we go even further:

* Mandatory vaccination of all chicks and pullets against Salmonella

* Strict routine Salmonella testing every 13 weeks

* Regular audits by APHA officials, environmental health and assurance schemes

Cheap imports are entering the supply chain, but safety and quality should never be compromised.

🎃It always surprises us how organised you all are! We have already had our first bookings for our annual Pumpkin Carving & Cake at the farm!
🎃This year we will be running morning and afternoon sessions on the 27th, 28th and 29th of October.
🎃We are asking people to pre book so we make sure we have enough pumpkins for all & so we have enough space in the barn. This year has been a difficult growing year, and we source all of our pumpkins from our friends Simon and Amelia at Little Wytheford Farm so it would be great if we can know numbers in advance.

Price is £5 per pumpkin, which includes a halloween cupcake, an activity sheet for the children and all the tools and help you need from the farmers (please note normal admission to the farm applies if you want to see our animals)

Don't let the weather forecast put you off, it's a beautiful sunny day here at the farm! The cake oven is on so if we do have a shower why not come and enjoy a fresh slice of cake and tea in our undercover barn?! 🍰☕️🌤

Exciting news! Our tasty sausages are back! 🌭🐖We've sent our boar off to our friends at Hough and Sons Butchers in Church Stretton, who will creating some proper thick, traditional, gluten free delicious sausages ready for next week.

We know how many of you loved them the last two years we have done this, so if you would like to reserve some, you can now do this via our website.

They will be in packs of 6, and perfect for freezing if you don't eat them up straight away! Price will be £4.50 for 6 (approx 500g give or take - some may be smaller, some packs maybe bigger but that's what you get with proper food!)

We are aiming for collection next Thursday (27th) but depending on how we get on packing they may be back Wednesday afternoon. Once they are back and in the fridge we will email everyone who has purchased online regarding collection.

If you are away on holiday, we'd happily freeze some for you, just let us know.

You will taste the difference compared to supermarket sausages!

Managed to catch a rare sight of one of our pea hens and her chicks hiding around the back of the shed! They have grown so much! 🦚🦚
They have been hiding in the shed with this hot weather we have been having, hopefully they will be brave enough to take a wander around the farm soon. Have you been lucky enough to see them?!
