It is Volunteers' Week, and we are saying a huge thank you to all of our volunteers.

At Community Resource, we see every day how your time, care and commitment make a real difference. You help people stay connected, build confidence and feel part of their community.

This week, we are celebrating together. We are hosting a special thank you afternoon for our volunteers, and we are hosting Volunteers in the Square on Saturday 6 June in Shrewsbury.

Volunteers in the Square will bring local organisations and families together, with activities to enjoy and the chance to explore volunteering across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

We are proud to work alongside volunteers who support people through isolation, strengthen community groups and bring people together. Your impact is felt across our communities every day.

We’re delighted to be part of See Hear Remember: Living Well with Dementia, Sight and Hearing Loss 💜

During Dementia Action Week, we’re shining a light on the importance of support, understanding and practical help for people living with dementia, and for those who care for them.

This exhibition will bring together advice, support and practical solutions to help people live well with dementia, alongside information on sight and hearing loss – recognising how these experiences are often connected.
