More progress at Riley & Son E Ltd Locomotive Engineers as work starts on the manufacture of new piston rods. The original pistons and rods had been removed from the engine at Barry before being acquired for preservation.

Whilst work is underway at Riley & Son E Ltd Locomotive Engineers we are still beavering away at a much slower pace at our works at the CVR. Last weekend was spent shotblasting parts for repair and painting. See further detail in the captions as usual.

Riley & Son E Ltd Locomotive Engineers don't hang about, in the works one day, lifted the next. We'd better get our finger out and get the bits done that we're still working on.
