In Sidley, we don’t have any local councils elections (Hastings do!) in May 2nd but we do have the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) election. This is important to vote in as the PCC makes decisions about where police resources are allocated.

VOTING GUIDE FOR THURSDAY:

Where do I vote?

Sidley’s polling station is at Freedom Church (Sidley Baptist) – this is for all Sidley voters.

When can I vote?

The Polling station is open from 7am – 10pm on Thursday May 4th

What do I need?

You MUST bring valid Photo I.D with you in order to vote

What about my poll card?

You do not need your poll card with you to vote (but it will speed things up)

How many people can I vote for?

In Sidley, you can vote for a maximum of two candidates, the two with the most votes will both be elected.
