Crew members at Sidmouth Fire Station paid their respects today to a former Sidmouth Firefighter. William George Pinn, known as Bill, recently passed away at the age of 93. Bill proudly served at Sidmouth Fire Station between 1963 and 1986. We send our thoughts and condolences to his family.

We are devastated to hear of the loss of two firefighters and a member of the public during an incident in Oxfordshire yesterday evening.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of those who have sadly lost their lives. We are also thinking of the injured firefighters who are recovering.

Our hearts go out to our colleagues at Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) - we are in mourning with you.

Flags will be flown at half-mast across our Service today.

Thank all of you that came to the charity car wash today, we raised a staggering £1220.40. This will be split between Fire Fighters Charity and Camps International.
We look forward to seeing you all next year, but feel free to get your car washed before then 😉 🚗 💧 🚿 💦 🔥 🚒
