'The Karpenters', the UK’s number one Carpenters tribute, have been performing since 2002. Every note, from the smallest percussion part to the full backing vocals, is meticulously recreated to honour the unique sounds and extraordinary legacy of The Carpenters.

Time to get fit, build self-confidence, and learn a self-defence skill, with Seidokan Karate Academy at Silsden Town Hall. 🥋 This is karate training for all age groups, taking place all year round.

Fancy giving it a go? A free session is available to sample training before committing to joining the group. 📆 Classes take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6pm each week.

We started our Karate Club in Silsden to help all age groups as a self-defence skill, to build self-confidence, to get fit and stay fit, to build self-discipline and a strong will to succeed, and not give in. At our club, we have also coached many students to be fighting and Kata champions, with many tournament successes. Our overall aim is to give people a pastime that develops multiple skills and health benefits to improve their lives".

Next week, a new class starts at Silsden Town Hall. Joyful movement for strength, heart health and confidence with Debs from Forever Active begins on Wednesday, 24th June.

Forever Active is a friendly, low-impact class designed to keep you moving, strong and independent as you age. Led by a Level 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist, it is suitable for those who have completed Phase III hospital cardiac rehabilitation, as well as anyone looking for a safe, supportive way to build strength, balance and confidence.

Tonight, The Haley Sisters return to Silsden Town Hall - a concert organised by members of our community in aid of The Gambian Schools Trust. 🤝

The Haley Sisters, Jo-Ann and Becky, were born and raised in Harden, West Yorkshire. From a very early age, they followed in their parents’ footsteps, showing a strong interest in music from all genres and now play an eclectic mix of feel-good music. The Haley Sisters first appeared professionally back in 1989, when they launched themselves into a successful singing career. They have performed at The London Palladium twice, and toured with many big acts entertaining in theatres, festivals and arenas across the country. The Haley Sisters are still recognised as one of the most unique acts in their profession, and continue to entertain and perform their limitless genres of music to audiences far and wide.

This event is in aid of the Gambian Schools Trust. You’ll be helping to support the establishment and improvement of educational facilities for young children in The Gambia, whilst enjoying this concert at Silsden Town Hall. 🇬🇲

"Come'ere There's More", Jimmy Cricket headlines Silsden Town Hall, supported by his daughter Katie Mulgrew, with resident comic Howard Walker.

Comedian Jimmy Cricket brings his trademark R & L Wellington Boots to Silsden Town Hall. Jimmy Cricket is one of the UK’s most loved Irish Comedians, having made four series for Central Television in the mid 1980's, and his own BBC Radio 2 Series in the 1990's, alongside numerous television appearances and Royal Variety Shows over the decades.

Jimmy will be supported by his daughter, Katie Mulgrew, an award-winning writer, actor and stand-up comedian. Katie Mulgrew has been heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2 and seen on CBBC and ITV2. He'll also be joined by Howard Walker, to close this year's Comedy Club series.
