What did you do last week?

Last Thursday we had the fantastic ope to take cadets on an air experience flight!

Along with our sister squadron 2316 squadron 4 cadets got to take to the skys in a Grob tutor and put some of their air operations skills into practical use!

Massive thanks to 5AEF for their dedication and enthusiasm enabling us to have this wonderful experience. And all the planning by the Laser & Kents aviation officers.

Our first post for a while. Nevertheless, a very well done tonight to the 7 cadets who have been awarded their Essential First Aid Badges. This is their first step into first aid within RAFAC and we hope to see them progress onto more in-depth training throughout their time with us.

Shannon is leaving us to start her Medicine course at Cardiff University.

We hope she enjoys her time there and goes on to achieve her goal of Joining the RAF as a medical officer.

Well done to FS Pardoe and SGT’s Patching-Scott and Plumb, who this weekend took part in the Kent Wing Parade.

This was to present the New Wing Banner to Kent Wing, which SGT Patching Scott had the honour to carry.

We also paraded to celebrate the Air Cadets 80th Anniversary and the Farewells to OC Kent wing and the Wing Warrant Officer.

A very hot and busy day but the cadets smashed it and looked very smart in doing so.
