Thanks to Labour, every child aged 5-15 in England will travel free on buses, with unlimited journeys, no registration required, and no cost to families.

And we are slashing VAT on summer activities too - from cinemas to museums to soft play centres, plus kids’ meals in restaurants.

Cllr Mark Last has urgently requested KCC cut back this vegetation obscuring the school children crossing sign, and repaint the worn SLOW markings on Tonge Road (Murston Ward).

We have long called for a proper, safe crossing from Great East Hall to the Peel Drive railway arch. As these are the only measures KCC currently have in place here, it is important they address these right away.

The A249 Sheppey Crossing is closed northbound between the B2005 (Iwade) and the A2500 (Minster on Sea, Sheppey) to allow for emergency bridge joint repairs to take place.
