🔥 Grantham and Sleaford Fire Cadets – Places Now Open! 🔥

New Fire Cadet units are launching in Grantham and Sleaford, giving young people an exciting opportunity to build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills 🚒

Fire Cadets take part in hands-on activities, learn vital life skills, and gain a unique insight into the fire and rescue service – all in a safe and supportive environment.

So that's another year of Sleaford Fires Santa Sleigh, it was an incredible year and we have broken a new record of the amount raised in one night last night (£1631) and also the total amount raised which is £6949. Anyone wishing to still give can do so via the just giving page which we will keep open for a while.
I want to thank all you amazing people who came out to support us and all of Santas helpers who without the event wouldn't be possible.
Big shout out to Baker Plant Hire for lending Santa his power! Thank you guys.

We’re excited to be taking Santa around Sleaford on top of our highly decorated fire engine once again! ✨

Tonight is our last night of the 2025 Sleaford Fire Santa Sleigh!
We have had a fantastic welcome from you all again this year, so thank you all from everyone at Sleaford Fire Station! 👏

Tonight’s route is the map below, beginning on Tennyson, before heading down The Drove, for what is always the biggest reception of all our nights.
North Parade area and then onto Stokes Drive, before heading over to the York Road estate and finishing on a high with a lap of Jubilee.

Give us a big welcome, dance with us and give Santa a big wave. 🕺🏻 🥁 👋

Tonight we are heading down Boston Road for St Giles estate, Hoplands and Russell Crescent area via Milton Way, due to the overgrown tree the route is slightly altered to the map below and we will leave the estate via Mark Avenue.
We then head to Southfields to finish our penultimate Santa night. (Note: we will not be going down Pear Tree Close due to parking issues)

Hi everyone attached are the routes for tomorrow's Sleigh Run (22nd). Beginning around 5.15.
Please note until I get back to work I can't upload the exact map for the Russel Crescent side of Boston road but I can tell you it will be going via Milton Way not Russel Crescent due to the overgrown tree on Russel, we will do all the other areas as before but via Milton and then returning via Mark Avenue and Park Avenue. Those on Russel Crescent will probably want to walk up to the junction of Stephens way.
Also on the Southfields route we won't be going to the end of Pear Tree close due to issues with turning round so might be worth a wander up to Redwood.
A Tracker will be posted before we leave station.

Drumming Santa returns tomorrow, we had a great night in Greylees last year so we are coming back bigger and better this year.
We will be starting the route around 4.15 tomorrow (20th) in Greylees then moving to Spire View then finally a quick visit to Tamer Road.
Santa Tracker will be posted on the Sleaford Fire page before we leave the station.

Morning everyone night 3 of our Fire Santa sleigh tonight (18th). 2 amazing night's so far so let's keep it up.
First route tonight is Ancaster Road area (note the different route from previous years to avoid the road closure) then onto Handley Chase, then Quarrington then finally Boundary Pastures and Keepers Way.
We do travel via Mareham Lane to get there but we won't be doing the slow walk down there as it's too busy a road but Santa will be keeping an eye out.
We aim to leave station by 5 for a 515 start.
