Government Funded Domestic Retrofit Training which is related to understanding the entire “Retrofit” process, as well as the “Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards” (Energy Efficiency), which will be changing as of 2027.

If you are a sole trader the courses are completely free and if you own a limited company or work with one then the cost is £380.00.

The training includes Domestic Retrofit (3 days) + Energy Efficiency (2 days) + one renewable course of your chose. In total it must be a 60 hours of training.

For the last 3 days of the boot camp, candidates can choose from one of the following modules, depending on whether they are a Plumbing, Heating or Gas engineer, an Electrician or a Mechanical engineer:

• BPEC accredited Domestic Ventilation Systems
• LCL Awards Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems
• BPEC accredited Solar PV Systems
• LCL Awards Air Source Heat Pumps
