Following on from yesterday's exciting frog news, we are delighted to announce the installation of a duck house at the Pond.

Duckingham Palace has been kindly sponsored by Cllr Pat Bird, built by the geniuses of Burnham Men's Shed, and installed by our always excellent grounds team. It will provide shelter for our ducks and moorhens, especially when the weather turns later in the year.

This is all part of our continuing plan to protect and enhance the Pond for the benefits of residents, wildlife and visitors.

Burnham Park Hall is unfortunately experiencing a sustained internet outage. We are working with our internet provider and hope to get it fixed soon.

All planned hall events are going ahead and the hall, cafe, and parish office remain open. Please just be aware that:

Public WiFi is not currently available at the hall.
Our bar staff won't be able to use the normal tills, so will need to take orders manually. We will have extra staff on to help, and we can still take both cash and card payment.
The Parish Office cannot take phone calls. We have a workaround so that the hall main reception can still take calls.

Staff are still able to access their emails and will deal with all enquiries as quickly as they can. Thank you for your patience.

Burnham Parish Council is pleased to announce the addition of a water fountain in Burnham Park, on the side of the library near the Green Gym and Trim Trail.

The fountain was installed with the kind permission of the Buckinghamshire Library Service; and kindly funded by Burnham Health Promotion Trust as part of the Trim Trail project.

As well as helping site users stay hydrated, the water fountain will hopefully reduce the single-use of plastic bottles, helping the environment.

The Parish Clerk has sampled the water and reports that it tastes very good!

As eagled-eyed park users will also be aware, we now have lighting columns in the park. We can confirm that solar light heads will be added shortly!
