In other news, as we reported a few posts back that we had vacated the building on Wagon Lane. The building we once called our second home has now been demolished, we have no information as to what will be put in place there in the future (The pictures were taken by Emma Smith and Mark Bridgewater)

To celebrate remebrance day we invited a chef who cooked us some delicious food that the soldiers would have eaten in the trenches as well as talking to us about how they cooked the food, what they ate as well wearing the uniform worn in that time period. It was very interesting and all of us enjoyed it all.

Hello everyone, apologies for not posting for some time but a lot has happened over the last few months. Unfortunately it is with sadness to tell you that the building that we vacated on Wagon Lane has now shut down. We have been relocated to Park View Day centre in Solihull and have been busy moving in and making ourselves known here, we will miss the building and have many great memories that will stay with us but luckily Green Acres is still running, just in a different building.

We also said a sad and fond farewell to Mahavir Sharma, Connie Richardson and Sharron Peach who we miss lots but hope they are enjoying spending their time relaxing. We also said Goodbye to Naron Litchmore who is now working for another council, we miss him too but hope he is enjoying his new role.

We welcome Stuart Booth to our team, he has fitted in well and liked by both staff and service users.

As you can see lots going on but we look forward to sharing what we do here and will continue to provide the best service possible.
