Anglo Saxon History (March 17) featuring:
• A tour of the Parker Library, one of the world’s great collections of Anglo Saxon manuscripts.
• “How do we know about the Early Middle Ages?” by Dr. Rory Naismith
• “Until the Dragon Comes: Myth and Legend in the Medieval North” by Dr. Brittany Schorn
Politics and International Relations (March 19) featuring:
• “US Anti-statism and the National Security State”, Dr. Aaron Rapport
• “International Intervention as a Response to Human Rights Violations.” Dr. Aaron Rapport
• A lecture by Leverhulme research fellow Dr. David Blunt
Philosophy (March 20) featuring:
• “Some problems with truth” Dr James Warren
• “The harmfulness of death” Dr James Warren
• “Do I know that the sun is going to rise tomorrow?” Dr Marina Frasca-Spada
Theology (March 24) featuring:
• “Theology and Art – The Word Made Paint”: Tour of the Fitzwilliam Museum, with Dr Andrew Davison, Fellow in Theology
• “Theology and Science – Making Friends with Multiverses” A Talk by Jamie Boulding
• “Theology and Philosophy – God and Being after Heidegger”: A Talk by Nathan Lyons
