Our first finisher's event for the Summer Book Quest is taking place next Saturday (5th September) - a FREE play session at Quince Honey Farm. If you have been taking part in the Summer Book Quest, don't forget to pop back in to get your certificate, Pixie the Pigeon key-chain and tickets for either this date, or the session on Friday 18th September. Did you set your reading goal a little high & feel you might not reach your target in time? Don't worry - do come back in to claim your rewards - we want to celebrate all the reading that has taken place this summer!

Escape the rain this morning at our Summer Fair, here at South Molton Library (9.30am - 12noon). Our toy tombola is overflowing with cuddlies looking for a new home! We also have a lucky dip, children's crafts, hook-a-duck, a raffle, book & game Sales, guess Winnie-the-Pooh's favourite honey & of course, delicious home-made refreshments! All monies raised will go towards supporting South Molton Library.

Has your child handed in their completed book review yet? As a reminder, they can write about anything that they've read (or had read to them) this summer, including books from home, graphic novels, audiobooks, etc. If your little one can't write yet, grown ups are allowed to transcribe their review onto the sheet for them!

Every completed review will be entered into the Devon-wide prize draw for Lego sets, games and book tokens! We will also be displaying them in the library once the Summer Book Quest is over.
