📢 New Parent and Carer Guide Now Available

We are pleased to launch our new SEND In Mainstream Settings Parent and Carer Guide, now available on the South Tyneside SEND Local Offer. The guide has been developed to help families understand the new SEND In Mainstream Settings Framework and what it means for children and young people receiving SEND support in mainstream schools and early years settings.

The guide explains:
✅ Why SEND support is changing in South Tyneside
✅ What the new Framework is and how it works
✅ How schools and settings will move from the SEND Ranges to the new Framework
✅ How families will be involved in decisions about support
✅ Where to get further information and support
