Running for just under a third of a mile round the boating lake, the tracks meander through the trees and over the level crossings before arriving back at the station. A cafe' can also be enjoyed on site with what is quoted as "the best view seen from a cafe'" due to the large open viewing of the train running by. Well that’s a wrap folks.

Liam Signing off as Manager of Lakeshore Railroad.

I know Matthew who usaully does our posts will not like me writing this post, as I will have mistakes in it.
But Not sure how to put into words how I feel.
But the last 18 years have been a journey, I will always remember and it has been an absolute pleasure to have been your train driver round the lake.

So thank you for all your kind words, cards and gifts you have brought down.

Thank you to all the staff and volunteers and Mike the owner for not just putting on a show this weekend for me but for the last 18 years.
