Grandparent afternoon

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to invite our grandparents to a special games afternoon where there will be
lots of opportunities to play board games, complete jigsaws and enjoy stories with your
grandchild. We appreciate not everyone’s grandparents may be able to attend and as such a
special person is very welcome.

Grandparent afternoon will be on Friday 12 th June 2026 at 2-3 pm.
(*children will be allowed to go home with their grown up).

We will have refreshments available and as such any donations however small would be
greatly appreciated. We will also have children’s art work on sale for a small donation.
(These will be available after school if an adult is unable to attend the session).

Dear Parents/Carers

Class Photographs

The photographer will be in school on Wednesday 3 rd June, to take the children for
their class photograph.

Can I ask that you make sure that your child is wearing their full school uniform; it
really makes the photo’s special when every child in the class is wearing the uniform.

Please contact the school office by Tuesday 2 nd June, if you do not wish your child to
be part of their class photograph.

The Hadrian team are organising a ‘Break the Rules Day’ on Thursday the 21st of May to raise money for our end of
year, school trips.
We would like to ask for a donation of £1 to break 1 or 2 rules and £3 to break 3 or more .
Please complete the letter the children will be bringing home tonight, to indicate which rules your child would like to break and return the form with your donations on Thursday the 21 st of May to your child’s teacher . Cash donations will be accepted or a payment via Parent pay can be made by logging into your child’s account

Y6 have had the best day (their words). We had pizza this afternoon and then we
received a surprise delivery - the Y6 Leavers Hoodies! 😀

They have all enjoyed a great day and they really deserved it!

Y6 are having a lovely time this morning. They are having a relaxing morning watching a film and eating popcorn! Well deserved it is too. 🌟

🌟We would just like to say a huge well done to our Y6 superstars. 🌟

They have worked so hard this week completing their SATs tests. They have shown resilience and determination and we are so proud of them!

Tomorrow we will celebrate their hard work by having a movie morning. Y6 are welcome to come to school in their pyjamas and bring in blankets. Then, to finish the week, we will have a pizza party in the afternoon.

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who have wished them all good luck and have showered them with lots of love.
