A New Chapter
We at Action Station know just how important a community space like a library is to the residents of South Tyneside. That is why when South Tyneside council announced the possible closer of Boldon Lane Library, Action Station (which is situated next door to the Library) decided that we could help keep the library open, with the aim to improve facilities for its existing users and provide more opportunity for other groups at the venue.
The library is now run by volunteers that have worked hard to get the library open to the public one again.
There is 7 computers available for public use, photocopying and printing available, along with Arts & Crafts, Toys and Games for children to enjoy.
